Welcome to the Harrisburg Adventurer Club!

A fun, faith-based program for young children sponsored by
the Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are thrilled to welcome your child to the Harrisburg Adventurer Club and Discovery Club! This program offers a fun, Christ-centered environment where children can learn more about themselves, the world around them, and their loving Creator.

The Adventurer Club is open to children in PreK through 4th grade, and our Discovery Club is our special Pre-Adventurer track for 3-year-olds (child must be 3 by December 2025).

We are confident your child will enjoy their time with us as we explore meaningful lessons, participate in engaging activities, and grow together in faith and friendship.

To register your child, please complete and submit the required forms and pay the registration fee (below).

Please also note the following important information:

  • Registration Deadline: August 1st, 2025
  • Registration Fees (per family):
    $40 for 1 child • $70 for 2 children • $100 for 3 children • $130 for 4 children Payment is required to complete registration and can be submitted online at: https://adventistgiving.org/donate/ANBIG1 (under “Adventurer Club Dues” local offering line; for step-by-step instructions, see our Membership Fee Online Payment Instructions). If your family is experiencing financial hardship, fee waivers may be available. Please contact the Club Director directly to inquire.
  • Regular meetings will be held on the 2nd Sabbath of each month at 2:00 PM at the church (Please note: our first meeting will be held on August 23rd, as an exception to this rule).
  • In addition to these monthly meetings, special events and extra gatherings will be scheduled throughout the year based on our club calendar.

Philosophy

​ The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist church- sponsored ministry open to all children ages 4-9, in which the church, home and school join together to help children grow joyfully in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man. The Adventurer Club is offered to assist parents in making the development of their child richer and more meaningful. ​

Objectives

To develop a Christ-like character; to experience the joy and satisfaction of doing things well; to express their love for Jesus in a natural way; to learn good sportsmanship and strengthen their ability to get along with others; to discover their God-given abilities and to learn how to use them to benefit self and serve others; to discover God’s world; to improve their understanding of what makes families strong; to develop parental support for the training of children.
