Acts 1:14 (The Message)
Dear Members and Friends of the Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church,
This Sabbath we will continue our study through the book of Acts. In the second half of chapter one, we will see how the apostles and followers of Jesus, numbering about 120, followed Jesus’ instructions explicitly. They returned to the upper room and spent ten days waiting for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Verse 14 tells us that they were in this for the long haul, committed to one another in unity, and in prayer. They also filled the position vacated by Judas through a unique process of casting lots.
